P80X

Yesterday marked 11 days in the program and with two workouts left this week, Im almost through the cycle twice over.  Im much less sore than I was this time last week and my muscles are somewhat getting used to the daily routine. 

With only 11 days under my belt, I cant say that I see any real physical changes yet.  And, while I have been food conscious, I am not following the P90X meal plan in any great detail.  I have noticed that Im hungry more often than before I started as my body is burning more calories daily.  

I’ve attempted the Yoga workout twice now and Im yet to get through the entire hour and half.  Not necessarily because Im tired or sore but because of attention span.  Yesterday with about 20 minutes left I said, “okay, enough of this.”  I’ve never been a real big yoga guy to begin with and though the workout felt much more familiar this week than last, its difficult for me to buy into a hour and a half of yoga.  Just the way it is.  

I thought I would have a harder time committing to daily workouts and forcing myself to set aside the time but that hasn’t been too difficult.  I will say that I continue to leave the workouts until the end of the day and its usually about the last thing I want to do.  I cant complain though because I haven’t made the sacrifice to get up super early in the morning to do it then.
