Choose
I am almost done reading Linchpin by Seth Godin (20 more pages) and I have to say, its another masterpiece. I think that he has hit back to back home runs with Linchpin and Tribes. Both are books that I will more than likely read a number of times in the years to come. This morning, I came across a passage in the book that I really liked. It is actually written by one of Seth’s cohorts, Ishita Gupta. I googled her to learn a little bit more and here is a link to her newest endeavor.
Every day is a new chance to choose.
Choose to change your perspective.
Choose to flip the switch in your mind. Turn on the light and stop fretting about with insecurity and doubt.
Choose to do your work and be free of distraction.
Choose to see the best in someone, or choose to bring out the worst in them.
Shoose to be a laser beam, with focused intention, or a scattered ray of light that doesnt do any good.
Don’t let your circumstances of habits rule your choices today. Become a master of yourself and use your willpower to choose.
